LIFE SPORT invites Zachos Varfis to share photos from his life in form of a slide show. As a shared activity in real space, LIFE SHORTS is a format that exercises the desire to look at people's photos/lives, addressing memories and future thought, by sharing personal experiences with a public. It is a conversational format in an informal setting, supported by Stefanos Mandrake Bar (Full bar in service on the night)
Zachos Varfis is a freelance architect, who lives and works in downtown Athens. He has recently built a garden space fitted with a digitally crafted plywood bowl for transition skateboarding. Combining craftsmanship and digital fabrication, his project Latraac has transformed a derelict space in a deprived neighbourhood into a social hangout, whilst being a major contribution to the local adult skate community.
LIFE SPORT is a sweatpants shop and an art space based in Athens since 2014. We aim to build an independent structure for arts funding through the sales of sweatpants.
